Jennifer Love Stringfellow
God's Peaceful Warrior

Jennifer has been practicing yoga since 2002 (with a particular love for Ashtanga yoga), and completed her 200-hr Multi-Style Yoga teacher training in 2013 with Hawaii Yoga Institute, a school in the Kripalu lineage. She also completed her advanced 95-hour teacher training with Holy Yoga (www.holyyoga.net), which culminated in a week-long Holy Yoga retreat in Arizona in May 2014. In 2016, Jennifer completed the 9-month intensive Holy Yoga Therapy and Bible study program, and was further refined through the Holy Yoga Leadership Training. She completed her advanced Holy Yoga Masters Program in July 2017, and is currently preparing and praying to join the leadership team at Holy Yoga.

Born with a seeking heart, Jennifer accepted the saving love of Jesus Christ on September 17, 2012, and shortly thereafter discerned the calling to share the fruits of that acceptance with her yoga students.  She teaches yoga with an emphasis on loving the Lord with our hearts, minds, souls, and bodies, combining prayer, scripture, breath, movement, and worship music.

Jennifer is also a medical massage therapist, having graduated in 2017 from the National Holistic Institute, a College of Massage Therapy, after 1,350 hours of training as a Neuromuscular Massage Therapist & Health Educator. She passed her massage & bodywork licensing exam in December 2016 and is a certified massage therapist, sharing God's healing touch through massage. Jennifer recently opened her own massage therapy clinic in midtown, Integrative Massage Therapy, working with medical professionals to facilitate healing and recovery for patients with chronic pain, injuries, and surgeries.

In addition to working with private yoga clients one-on-one, Jennifer has subbed and taught regular yoga classes in Hawaii and California, including beginning and intermediate flow, vinyasa, Hatha, and restorative classes. She has taught locally at Kaia FIT, Fusion Yoga, and several church ministries. Her yoga classes combine flow, power, and restorative practices to challenge her students to hear the still, small voice inside and worship God body and soul.

Jennifer's Mission Statement:
Bringing Peace to Your Perfect Self

Jennifer is dedicated to helping people of all ages and abilities embrace yoga's acceptance of each body's perfection as it was created, making each person's yoga practice unique.  With a combination of flow, power, and restorative practices, she strives to connect and nurture her students' hearts, minds, souls, and bodies, culminating in a sense of stillness, openness, and peace within.
